Our AR experience is pioneering a new level of human-machine interaction at the museum. Developed for the Microsoft Hololens our app augments the museum experience, making history more interactive and tangible. Visiting the museum becomes more personalized and will be a never-to-be-forgotten experience.
By design, every content can be easily enhanced by our global gamification engine which automatically awards points to the global score. A virtual guestbook with social media integration invites visitors to leave a permanent mark in augmented space.
MO-X adapts to the museum. The editor mode allows the museum to permanently place augmented contents like exhibits, movie clips, texts or games at arbitrary places in the room.
During his visit at the museum, the user can pick up augmented icons which give him information and background knowledge about the correspondent exhibit. Each icon is rewarded with points that sum up in a digital ranking. The final score can be shared on social media or traded for a voucher of the museum’s Café later on.
MO-X primarily focusses on the individual configuration of the museum visit. Therefore, by using the Multiwheel, each visitor can distinguish between audio-visual, auditory or textual icons corresponding to his own personal learning behavior. Every icon is subdivided into three different levels, meaning three different lengths of information. In case of the audio-visual option, the Multiwheel also servers as a spheric 3D display for videos.
Auditory information can be controlled by an augmented audio guide. The visitor can wind back and fast forwards within the audio guide by moving its center either to the left or to the right. The duration of the provided information of the exhibit is divided into several levels and a correspondent amount of points.
